GDPR Policy Statement
With the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) coming into action on the 25th May 2018, East Trans would like to assure you that we take your privacy very seriously.
In order to comply with the new regulations, one of our top priorities is to keep your personal information safe and secure.
The current information we hold are your name, email addresses, telephone numbers, company details and bank details to send you information about our new products and services. We also use this information for any invoicing purposes in order to carry out our daily service. All in which, are stored securely on our systems here at East Trans.
East Trans will not sell or pass on your personal information for marketing purposes or to third parties without your consent. However we will provide your data to third parties under the circumstances of any unlawful acts or to our service partners in order to provide products, information and advice for the best products and services for you.
The information we hold is to enable general trading with your company on a regular basis. However, we may contact you regarding new products and services which may be of interest to you. If you are happy for us to retain your information then no action will be required. However, should you have any concerns or complaints regarding the data we hold please contact us at phickling@easttrans.co.uk.
Complaints
Once a complaint is received or a data breach has been identified we will perform an internal investigation which should give an outcome within 72 hours of notification, where feasible. If the breach is likely to result in adversely affecting individual’s rights and freedoms, we will also inform those individuals without undue delay. We will also notify the ICO when necessary and keep a record of any personal data breaches, regardless of whether we notify the ICO or not.
